My name is Cathryn, I also go by Cat or Cath.

What do you do at Shift?

I work at Shift as a Provisional Psychologist.

What are your academic credentials?

I attended Carleton University in Ottawa, where I finished an Honours degree in Psychology, then I moved to Alberta and completed a Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology.

Do you have any pets?

I have one pug, her name is Abby.

What motivates or inspires you?

I love seeing people succeed and excel, and I love watching someone do a job or a hobby they are very passionate about. Helping other people feel more fulfilled in their lives is very motivating to me.

What is your favourite food?

I love tacos every Tuesday, but my absolute favourite is any type of curry.

What is a skill you are working on currently?

I have been working on increasing my boardgame-game. My son is currently schooling me on how to be more strategic.

What do you do in your spare time?

In my spare time I enjoy hiking, cooking, running, camping, and gardening. I am trying to expand my winter activities to include snowboarding.

What is your dream car?

Not sure I have one, I’ve never been really into cars.

Watching Anchorman, works every time!
