My name is Jennifer, and my nicknames are either Jenny or Jenn, not that exciting!

What do you do at Shift?

I work at Shift as a Registered Provisional Psychologist!

What are your academic credentials?

I completed my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Alberta, and my Masters in Counselling from City University.

Do you have any pets?

I do not, unfortunately. However, I LOVE puppies!

Specialty Populations/Issues:

My specialty areas include helping children, adolescents, and adults with concerns surrounding self-regulation, assertiveness, and self-esteem. In addition to depression and anxiety, I also specialize in trauma concerns, grief/loss, and stress management.


What is your favourite food?

It depends on the day, but lately I’ve really been enjoying donairs!

What is a skill you are working on currently?

I am working on carrying through with my self-care plans. I plan lots of time for self-care, but I do not always follow through. That’s my big goal at the moment.

What do you do in your spare time?

I love to cook and try new recipes, go for walks, read mystery books, and I enjoy finding new local cafés!

What is your dream car?

A red convertible of any kind.

What is your go-to for a good laugh?

That 70’s show or the office! They never fail to make me laugh.
