Like all Shift Clinicians, Joshua is trained in the Shift Protocol, which is the highly effective blending of two well-researched approaches: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Bi-Lateral Stimulation (BLS). He works with both adolescents and adults.

My name is Joshua. My nickname is “Wolfy”.

I am part of the clinical team at Shift.

What are your academic credentials?

I have a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in psychology from the University of Lethbridge. In addition, I have a Masters in Counselling Psychology.

Do you have any pets?

I do not have any pets.

What motivates or inspires you?

My inspiration comes from listening to my clients’ stories and seeing them grow and develop despite the challenges life throws at them.

I work with both adolescents and adults. In addition to working with clients who experience anxiety and depression, I have a special interest in:

What is your favourite food?

I love breakfast food any time of the day.

What is a skill you are working on currently?

I am trying to teach myself how to play the piano, which is challenging as I have zero musical background or experience.

What do you do in your spare time?

I play a variety of sports including softball, football and squash.

What is your dream car?

My dream car would probably be a black matte Audi R8.

What is your go-to for a good laugh?

I love watching stand-up comedy.
