What is your favourite food?
Being a child of the ‘80s, I cannot deny my love for KD and Ichiban. But for real food, I’d say margarita pizza, pico de gallo, and anything with roasted tomatoes. I could eat those three for every meal. But I also love to cook and try new things so I definitely like some variety!
What is a skill you are working on currently?
As a recovering perfectionist, I am on a mission to develop hobbies after years of giving up if I wasn’t immediately good at something (i.e., all things). So, I am working on moving from a fixed mindset (I can’t do it) to a growth mindset (I can do it if I put in the time). This means I am really working on trying to do things I would have previously avoided.
What do you do in your spare time?
Based on the previous question, I now spend my time learning guitar (love country music!), trying to paint, hand lettering (a goal from 2017), and making homemade cards (my fave gift to give and receive). I also love spending time with my big group of awesome friends and family, hitting up the farmer’s market with my husband, and being near water as much as possible.
What is your dream car?
I am just not a car guy. I will drive my very practical 2005 Honda CRV until the wheels fall off! The only other car that I think would be so dope to own is an El Camino…the mullet of cars!
What is your go-to for a good laugh?
I laugh super easily, but it helps that I am surrounded by a boatload of funny people in my life. I actually laugh often with my clients! Who says therapy has to be all serious business?! Outside of that, nothing makes me laugh harder than when someone gets a really clever but unexpected burn on my buddies or me. Also, watching my parent’s dog be a rude jerk always gets me!
