Like all Shift Clinicians, Rachelle is trained in the Shift Protocol, which is the highly effective blending of two well-researched approaches: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Bi-Lateral Stimulation (BLS). She has experience working with adults, children and adolescents.


What is your name/nicknames?

My name is Rachelle Diamond and my nicknames are Roro and Rach.

What do you do at Shift?

I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist.

What are your academic credentials?

I did my undergrad at the University of Alberta with a major in psychology, and then did my Masters of counselling psychology at Adler university in Vancouver.

Do you have any pets?

I do not but plan to have a few bulldogs in my near future.

What motivates or inspires you?

Being in healthy competition with myself motivates me – continuing to grow and learn new things is what keeps me awake most days. Trying to put myself in uncomfortable situations is something I despise but have learnt is so helpful and necessary!

I love hot yoga, pelatoning, enjoying good food and wine, and spending time with friends and family.

I have always been the G- Wagon dreamer.

My family is my source of laughter – I always laugh around them and it’s like medicine!
